A system of economics known as capitalism is characterised by the ownership of production by private individuals and the pursuit of profit. It may affect people differently, both favourably and unfavourably. It's critical to remember that the impacts of capitalism might change depending on the situation, the regulatory environment, and the level of the social safety nets and protections. Different economic structures, like mixed economies, try to strike a balance between capitalism's advantages and disadvantages by including aspects of governmental involvement, regulation, and social welfare initiatives to lessen any possible problems.   When a small number of people or businesses collect an excessive amount of wealth, capitalism can result in severe income disparity. This wealth concentration has the potential to exacerbate social inequalities, restrict economic opportunity, and prevent individual equality. Additionally, critics contend that capitalism can result in worker exploitation. Some companies may prioritise cost-cutting strategies including low pay, poor working conditions, and scant job security in the sake of profit. This may lead to unstable income, unhappiness at work, and a lack of worker rights and protections. Sometimes, capitalism's emphasis on expansion and profit can neglect environmental sustainability. Unchecked capitalism may encourage unsustainably high levels of resource consumption, pollution, and other unsustainable behaviours. This may lead to climate change, environmental deterioration, and long-term harm to eco-system and biodiversity. Market failures and economic instability are risks in capitalist economies. Economic downturns, recessions, and financial crises can have serious effects on people, such as job losses, a reduction in resources available to them, and financial troubles. These market fluctuations can cause instability and harm people's wellbeing in the absence of strict controls.  A culture of consumerism, where people are taught to prioritise material things and consumption, is frequently promoted by capitalism. This concentration on continuous expansion and consumption has the potential to result in overconsumption, excessive debt, and a preference for material prosperity over overall well-being. Externalities caused by capitalism have the potential to burden people and communities in ways that are not considered by economic transactions. According to critics, capitalism can promote an individualistic mentality that puts one's own interests and financial gain ahead of social values and the good of the whole. This can destroy community cohesion, impair social ties, and promote a lack of empathy and social responsibility.   Hayes, A. In recent years, there has been a lot of discussion about the complicated and varied relationship between social media and mental health. Although social media platforms provide several advantages, like the ability to connect people, share knowledge, and facilitate social interactions, they may also have adverse effects on mental health. A major issue is the effect of social media on young people's mental health. Feelings of inadequacy, low self-esteem, anxiety, and melancholy can be exacerbated by ongoing exposure to carefully produced and frequently false depictions of other people's lives. The mental health of young people might suffer from cyberbullying and internet harassment. Cyberbullying and online harassment, comparing oneself to others, establishing one's body image, experiencing sleep disorders because of excessive social media and electronic device use, and many other issues are important considerations when examining the relationship between social media and mental health. It's significant to emphasise that each person's experience with social media will have a different effect on their mental health. Others may be more susceptible to its damaging effects, while some people may be more resilient and less affected. Social media can also be advantageous since it can foster a feeling of community, give access to resources, and allow for self-expression. It's critical for people to be careful of their social media use, create appropriate boundaries, and partake in activities that foster wellbeing and face-to-face social contacts if they want to foster better mental health in the digital age. To create tactics and tools that lessen the negative effects of social media and promote a healthy online environment, social media platforms, researchers, and mental health experts must collaborate. Family systems theory, commonly referred to as systemic treatment or family therapy, is a psychological strategy that sees the family as a complex system in which everyone has a specific function and contributes to the general health of the family unit. This theory highlights how interconnected family members are and contends that modifications to one aspect of the system may have repercussions on other aspects. It is said that emotional symptoms of a person are an expression of the family's emotional symptoms, which are frequently ingrained in behavioural patterns from earlier generations (Haefner, 2014). According to this, family dynamics and patterns of interaction frequently have an impact on an individual's psychological disorders. An individual's mental health can be profoundly impacted by family dynamics. Mental health illnesses like anxiety disorders, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), or substance use disorders can arise because of negative family dynamics, such as high levels of conflict, emotional or physical abuse, or substance addiction. On the other side, resilient behaviour can be encouraged by caring environments and supportive family dynamics, which can act as protective factors against mental health problems. While family dynamics can have a significant impact on an individual, it's vital to remember that people also have agency and the power to overcome unfavourable dynamics through personal development, counselling, and forming supportive relationships outside of the family. Additionally, because various family members may be impacted differently by the same dynamics, personal experiences within the family can differ too. Reference: Haefner, J. (2014). Individuals are under a lot of pressure and duty to live up to societal expectations, which makes them feel as though they must adhere to all the presumptive norms and standards of their society or social group. These standards may be derived from several sources, including cultural or religious beliefs, family, friends, peers, the media, and societal values. Trying to live up to society expectations, whether they have to do with career success, intimate relationships, physical attractiveness, or other facets of life, may be quite stressful. Chronic tension, anxiety, and even burnout can be brought on by a fear of failing or of falling short of these standards. Individuality and self-expression can also be constrained by societal norms. It is difficult, nowadays, for people to explore and express their genuine selves when they feel pressure to fit into roles, behaviours, or beliefs. This may result in identity uncertainty, internal conflict, and general life discontent. Setting self-awareness and self-acceptance as a priority might help people to negotiate cultural expectations. This entails being aware of one's own values, goals, and limitations and adjusting one's behaviours and decisions accordingly. When societal standards conflict with an individual's pleasure and well-being, it is vital to question and challenge them. Being surrounded by a kind and accepting group of people can also inspire people and validate them. In addition to providing direction in managing societal demands and creating coping mechanisms, professional assistance such as therapy or counselling can also be helpful. In the end, embracing authenticity and placing a high priority on mental and emotional health can assist people in finding fulfilment despite defying standard norms. Reference: Capper, J. Train delays in Sydney generate annoyance and irritation for thousands of travellers who rely on trains as their major source of transit. Delays can result in missed appointments, late appearances at work or school, and general disruptions to daily routines. All of this causes tension and discontent among passengers negatively impacting their general well-being. Late arrivals may result in missed meetings, lower work hours, or lower classroom time, all of which have a detrimental impact on businesses, educational institutions, and the overall economy. It is very important to work on this issue for people which can be done by improving infrastructure, performing regular maintenance, investing in contemporary signalling systems, and implementing good operational procedures. Furthermore, clear communication with passengers about delays and alternate transit options can help offset negative consequences and retain public trust in the transportation system. Sydney train authority needs to atleast provide some information regarding delays and cancellation about the train. But, recently they are even lacking on that. as a result passenger who are completely relies on train services are facing lots of issues rescently. If the service user atleast gets to know about the issues beforehand, they will be choosing some other services.
