Soapbox, I began to realise, cannot be seen from a single angle. This also is the beginning of conceptualising humanity as a single interconnected organism, though I did not know it at the time.
Society. At its broadest, unter the title 'forest' is a vast network of exchanges, as we connect with ourselves, others, or our goals. This is sourced from DBT, specifically 'interpersonal effectiveness'. It is a communication tool that allows us to identify the purpose of a conversation; asserting our needs, identifying anothers, or establishing a common purpose. In this diagram, most of us travel between these three points, but, with sufficient practice (the top of the structure), individuals may be able to do all three simultaneously; connect with others, themselves and the world, all at the same time. This is the ultimate goal, for society to include all, and all of our dreams. This is the concept of the 'vox'; humanity connected in exchange like a flock of birds co-ordinating, being each themselves and their flock at the same time.

Relationships. In the section marked 'tree', we have lines of relationships, or 'lineage'. People host educational or inspiration activities, encourage attendees to become hosts, increasing the structure of the network, This growth leads to feeding back information on what features lead to more activites, which allows us to focus attention on what works. It also can generate projects that can be promoted as soapbox activities, which brings more people into the network.
Activities. At its most basic level, 'seed', hosts are encouraged to run their own events, as a 'house', whether its in a local park or their house. It is here that we first identify soapbox as a 'vocal tradition', at their heart, a spoken connection. The events are built on community-designed guides that are, as in the section above, curated by the community. The more events run, the more can be broadcast on a communication channel. Finally, all of the above can be analysed to enhance the network's resilience, so that we are all supported through bravely connecting.
