The Frame is a living library of ideas and tales, with one simple goal: To through connection and meaning. Its built by all of us, for all of us, where you can:
-Why get involved (What is soapbox theory) -Guides on how to run meaningful events and conversations -People's experiences using the guides
-What you feel is missing or might be true for you -Your new ideas for running meaningful events and conversations -Your own experiences using the guides
The main forum (how to everything) follows 2 simple rules:
1. Guides on events/conversations are posts (For now we are calling them parties, and, yes, you can have a party of 2)
2. Stories and journals of our experiences having a party, including variations on the party guide, are found as comments under that guide. (If your mad chat didnt follow a format, then post it under 'free chat'
more on stories and journals
If your group runs a format regularly, you can post a reply to your original comment each time with a small summary, so you or other people can easily tune into your feed. You can post as an individual, or create an account for your team, which is useful if you dont want to post your personal information. You can post in any format you like; video, audio, image. A live recording is what we call a #rawfeed An edited step by step process or polished how-to is what we would call a #retrofeed. There are advantages to either; retrofeeds are more comprehensive and easy to follow, rawfeeds are a little bit of magic, as they represent soapbox at its core; a vocal tradition.
Categories and Hashtags:
There are a bunch of broad categories of party formats; including creating community action, running a support group, hosting an actual party, creating a zine. They are designed to work together, like organs in a body, so that, not only are we connected, but we can act powerfully in our society, whilst not losing who we are. This is the basis of soapbox's 'Shine, Constellate', model. You can find a guide on categories in the post called 'hashtags'.

Why create this forum?
Back in the day, wisdom existed in the form of stories, and elders would impart this verbally to children; the older kids would impart this experientially on the younger ones; and so on. They would feature tales of real people doing real things, and fantastical beings doing fantastical things. We would witness them. 'History is written by the victors', may refer to invading cultures and what they have often done: they destroy the mythologies of the conquered, their libraries and they build monuments to enshrine the new myths of the new culture. I'm sure you can think of an example or two. You may consider some historical cases, but its happening today, to us. Colonial or empirial powers are no longer countries, races, states or religions... the world is global and the elite transcend global divisions; in today's world, humanity as a whole is being conquered, and the wisdom finds itself diluted into two myths: Work hard and all will work out, or resist against 'enemy'. I beleive our options are way more than to just fight (each other) or endure. But we can include those, too. I am hoping the Frame helps us build new stories of legends and aspirations, to replace transactions with interactions, and improve what is real. After all, what is society made of if not people?
